You can begin a career today in the growing profession of child development and education. Upon completion of the program, students may obtain employment as a teacher of young children in a variety of positions such as; professional nanny, day care, pre-school, nursery school, head start teacher or assistant.

Organizations
All students are encouraged to be involved in the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) organization. It is an excellent opportunity to develop skills and become a part of a team which strives to serve children, families and our community. Students will be involved in leadership training, a variety of competitions, social activities, community service and fundraising. Experiences gained through participation in FCCLA provide valuable memories that last a lifetime.
College Credits
This program has cooperative agreements with OSU/Okmulgee and Eastern Oklahoma State College which allow a student to earn a predetermined number of credit hours by completing technical training and general studies.
